Today’s edition of Métro presents the new Accès Condos accredited project – BORO
Journalist Catherine Girouard signed a great article in today’s Journal Métro concerning the new Accès Condos accredited project BORO—condos and stacked houses. This project, with sales offices opening this Saturday, November 19th at 1 pm, is a first incursion of the Accès Condos program in the Pierrefonds-Roxboro borough.
In this article, the project’s architect, François Beaulieu, explains his vision of stacked houses on two levels: ‘’ We tried to assemble, in one single concept, the advantages of living in a house and those of living in a condo.“ Indeed, people often believe that condominiums are not as convenient for family dwellings than a typical suburban home. Yet, stacked houses offer at once the comfort and feel of a house, with private living spaces such as bedrooms and bathrooms separated from daytime spaces on another level, while offering the affordability and convenience of condo living. No need for mowing the lawn or shovelling the driveway! As well, by purchasing a new construction, you avoid all the worries, expenses and time spent on renovating an older building. What’s more, the project is located 600 metres from the Roxboro-Pierrefonds train station. New BORO owners will be able to enjoy the comfort of the train ride to access downtown rapidly, while avoiding the costs associated with the upkeep of a second car or the time spent crossing bridges or being held up in traffic.
After 10 years of success, the Accès Condos program continues its momentum with a housing offer which caters to the needs of families. This is good news indeed for Montrealers on the look out for their very own home, a home which is accessible, affordable and a quality one!
